Hello, I’m Lynda. I live in the mountains of northern Georgia, USA and am seriously obsessed with picture books! I have 5 children all of whom love to read from the time they were a baby. Our family reads books in every season; at the beach in the Summer, under a tree in the Fall, by the fireplace in the Winter, and on our porch in the Spring. It also includes a book with a cup of hot cocoa, chai, or coffee; oh! and I can’t forget to mention our sweet pets alongside us. We have 2 cats who keep us very entertained, and over the years we had these other pets: 2 guinea pigs, fish, fiddler crabs, hermit crabs, a salamander, and a turtle. Next on the list is a dog we can take on our family hikes along rivers and waterfalls. 

 

I love to learn about the world around me. From countries to explore, languages to learn, and foods to savour, there is so much to see and do. The world may seem very big, but when we open a book, we realize it’s not so big after all!! And especially when you have a forever friend like Henry the bearded dragon by YOUR side in the books. Hmmm, I wonder . . . where will Henry travel next, and is he  hiding with dinosaurs?  Let’s read on to see : )
